European Film College is for everyone who loves film, and we accept students from all over the world. Our 1-year film programme teachers you all the basics in professional filmmaking and helps you find your own voice and talents.

We combine the Danish folk high school tradition of community, democracy and personal growth with film collaboration, creating a unique and intense learning environment. We promise you that you will learn more in one year than you thought possible. About film and about yourself.

Our 9 creative fields

At EFC, we have courses in 9 different creative fields. You get to try at least 3 of them during your stay. Read more about the different fields and how students are distributed in classes here.

Film facilities

EFC is the only Danish folk high school built solely for film production. We have highly professional equipment and extraordinary film facilities.
