Great Bear Alumni - European Film College

In 2024, the first official alumni association for European Film College was founded by a group of former EFC students from different year groups. The association is called Great Bear Alumni (GBA), and they work on creating a strong network for EFC alumni and they help arrange our annual Reunion in June.

The purpose of Great Bear Alumni is to keep former students and teachers connected to the school, regardless of year group. The board members also help arrange the annual Reunion Weekend at European Film College.

The association is also working to create an online platform, where former students can share their information, make connections, and find potential collaboration partners across the globe.

More than just nostalgia

This initiative was born from a desire to formalize and strengthen the very special bond that exists between students from European Film College. Being part of Great Bear Alumni is about more than just nostalgia and fond memories - it provides unique access to a massive professional support network. With thousands of former students spread across the globe, the association serves as a vital link between generations of filmmakers.
