Guest lectures
In addition to our professional and international faculty, consisting of 8 full-time teachers, you will also meet a wide range of guest speakers and guest teachers from the professional film industry during the 1-year film programme.
It is an important part of the experience at European Film College that we continuously introduce students to a diverse array of professionals from both the Danish and international film and media industries.
Guest teachers and speakers contribute with essential knowledge, technical guidance, and immense inspiration.
They provoke thought, broaden horizons, and spark new ideas. But they do not just come to give a talk, they often come to provide in-depth teaching and help students grow as both individuals and filmmakers. A visit can therefore consist of anything from intensive, subject-specific workshops or lectures to film screenings followed by Q&A sessions.
We cover the entire cinematic spectrum. We have previously hosted award-winning directors, editors, cinematographers, sound designers, producers, and actors.
As we are a folk high school, a very special, intimate atmosphere often emerges when industry figures visit us. The gap between student and professional is bridged, and the meeting takes place on equal footing. This gives you a unique opportunity to ask your questions and gain realistic insight into life in the professional film world.
