European Film College is a folk high school and a film school rolled into one, embracing both creative development and professional excellence. The school is characterized by a dynamic, international environment where a passion for the art of film, education, and cultural exchange go hand in hand.

European Film College is not just a school; it is a very special community where talented young people from all over the world meet to learn how to create the films of the future. We are a folk high school with a strong focus on practical filmmaking, and our main activity is our 1-year film programme. Here, our mission is to provide our students with the best prerequisites for developing their artistic voice and pursuing a career in the film and media industry.

In addition to our long course, we also host a series of week-long courses during the summer, where we welcome participants for a week's holiday filled with exciting content, knowledge, and good food. The summer courses are in Danish.

Our staff is diverse and includes everything from experienced teachers in film production (directing, screenwriting, camera, editing, sound, lighting, etc.) to technical and administrative staff, chefs, assistants, and other employees who all contribute to creating a safe and inspiring learning environment and keeping everyday life running smoothly. Regardless of their function, every employee plays an important role in the students' daily lives and learning journey.

An international workplace

As an employee, you will have daily contact with colleagues and students of more than 30 different nationalities. This creates a unique and enriching work culture where language, cultural understanding, and a global perspective are central elements. You must thrive in an environment where English is the primary language of instruction and communication.
