As a student at European Film College, you will be offered various forms of career guidance and inspiration to help you make decisions regarding future studies and work.
European Film College focuses not only on the students’ journey during their time at the school. We are aware that a life and a world await on the other side of the 1-year film programme. Therefore, the college offers relevant career guidance to students, allowing them to continuously develop their ideas about what the next step on their path should be.
For many former students, European Film College has been the launchpad for a journey into advanced film schools around the globe, or it has opened doors to the film and media industry, both in Denmark and internationally.
Teachers and Principals
Whether you are set on a specific career path and just need advice on how to get there, or you are unsure which direction to take, our teachers are ready to guide you in terms of your future. They all possess experience from various branches of the film and media industry and can contribute significant knowledge, insight, and inspiration. Our students are always welcome to contact both teachers and principals and set up a meeting.
Guest lecturers
Throughout the year, we are visited by a wide range of guest teachers and guest lectureres from the Danish and international film and media business. In addition to sharing knowledge about their field and their work, they also inspire the students and guide them regarding career choices and opportunities.
Future Fridays
Throughout the year, we host our so-called "Future Fridays," where film schools, production companies, or universities from Denmark and around the world are invited in for talks and Q&As about their study or trainee programmes. Many visit EFC in person, but if that is not possible, Future Fridays take place as online sessions.
