How to register

Collage with students filming

Below is all the information you need in order to sign up. However, if you still have questions, don't hesitate to contact us. EFC has one annual 1-year programme, starting mid August and running until mid May.

The registration form for a given programme opens early October the year before.

Registration process

Immediately after your registration, you will get a confirmation that we received your registration. We then strive to answer you on email within about 3 weeks, whether you have been accepted or have been put on a waiting list. If you are on a waiting list, you will of course be informed immediately on email, if a spot opens for you.

If you are accepted, you will be asked to make your first payment, which is the registration fee of DKK 500 plus a prepayment of DKK 5000, adding up to a total of DKK 5500. Your acceptance to the programme is not official until you make this payment, and it should be made within 14 days after your acceptance email. If you do not make the payment, we will try to contact you, but reserve the right to cancel your spot.

You sign up here.

Deadline

We do not have a registration deadline as such for the 1-year programme. We open our registration form in the first week of October the year before the programme starts, and after that it is first in, first served.

Even when we are fully booked, we take in registrations for the waiting list in case of cancellations. And we accept students right up until the beginning of the programme in August, in case of a cancellation.

However: if you come from a country, where a full visa is required (as a rule, everyone from outside the European Union), we need time to process your visa, and this can take a few months - so when we get closer to the beginning of the programme, we are no longer able to take in students from visa requiring countries.

Cancellation

If you cancel your spot before April 1st in the year where the programme will start, we will refund you the DKK 5000 for the material account. The DKK 500 for admissions fee is non-refundable.

If you cancel your sport AFTER April 1st, you will not get a refund.

Should you, for some reason, decide to terminate your stay prematurely after arriving to European Film College, please be aware that the college will charge you for the rest of the week plus an extra 4 weeks of tuition from the day you leave the school.

The school does not offer any refunds in connection with absence due to illness etc. If you wish to be covered in that area, you will need to take out an insurance policy at your own insurance company.
