How to sign up

Registration criteria

There are only two formal criteria for acceptance at the European Film College. You must be at least 18 years old and you must be able to follow lectures and do assignments in English (which is also why both your CV and motivation have to be in English).

We are, however, also bound by the Danish folk high school law to always have at least 50% Danish students at all times, and we aim to have an even distribution of gender as well as diversity in terms of interests, nationality and cultural background.

Other documents needed

Besides the registration form (link below) you need to also submit other things, such as a CV, motivational letter etc. You can read the details about the requirements when you go to the online registration (link below).

Registration deadlines

DANISH CITIZENS: The registration deadline for the 2020-21 programme is April 1st 2020.
This is if you wish to be considered in the first round of registrations (you can still apply after April 1st, but then it may be for the waiting list).

NON-DANISH CITIZENS: The registration deadline for the 2020-21 programme is April 1st 2020.
This is if you wish to be considered in the first round of registrations (you can still apply after April 1st, but then it may be for the waiting list).

VISA STUDENTS: If you come from a country, where a full visa is required in order to enter Denmark, the deadline for applying is February 1st 2020.
This is due to long processing times at the Danish Immigration Service. See here whether you need a full visa to enter Denmark.

In mid May 2020, you will receive an answer as to whether you have been accepted into the programme.

Next film foundation course starts on 24 August 2020.
