How to sign up

Registration criteria

There are only two formal criteria for acceptance at the European Film College. You must be at least 18 years old and you must be able to follow lectures and do assignments in English (which is also why both your CV and motivation have to be in English).

We are, however, also bound by the Danish folk high school law to always have at least 50% Danish students at all times, and we aim to have an even distribution of gender as well as diversity in terms of interests, nationality and cultural background.

In mid May 2019, you will receive an answer as to whether you have been accepted into the programme.

Other documents needed

Besides the registration form (link below) you need to also submit other things, such as a CV, motivational letter, visual presentation etc. You can read the details about the requirements when you go to the online application.

DANISH CITIZENS: We still have a few available places left for Danish citizens for the 2019-20 programme. Register below!

NON-DANISH CITIZENS: You can still apply, but it will be for the waiting list, as we are currently fully booked with non-Danish students for the 2019-20 programme. If we get an open spot for you, you will be contacted straight away.

VISA STUDENTS: Please note that it is too late to register, if you come from a country, where a full visa is needed to enter Denmark (this is due to processing times at the Danish Immigration Service). See here whether you need a full visa to enter Denmark.

Next film foundation course starts on 26 August 2019.
