European Film College is a place where you live and breathe film 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Making films is a collective art form. So the social life of the college, the fact that you live and work together as a community, is a key part of your education.
Every year 120 students from all over the world join the 8½-month film foundation programme. To date we have had students from over 45 different countries. Our official language is English, and we encourage everyone to speak English at all times in the common areas, no matter who you’re talking to.
By living and working together with students and teachers from various backgrounds and cultures, you’ll arrive at a new understanding of yourself as an individual and of the special contribution that you can make to a team.
