A former tennis champion (I played for several years on the Danish national team) I am a state-certified translator and interpreter and hold a Master’s Degree in English. From 1987 to 1995 I lived in Guildford, UK working as company secretary/translator for a software developing company. I joined the European Film College in 1995.

I got my first "still" camera. It was much too expensive to use film and the video camera had not been invented. Film has asways had an appeal on me - however after military service I was educated to be a police officer, serving as a motorcycle policeman, before I got the opportunity to get a job as a photographer and camera man with the national TV. For many years I travelled with the big transmission vans before I got the chance to become a producer with responsobility of small and large productions. Over the last couple of years I have trained a large number of people in AVID editing techniques.
I love to travel - today with my Nikon camera. My latest journey took me and my wife to Beijing by train. From Beijing we explored the more remote parts of China and had the chance to photograph in this fantastic country.

For 22 years I was a self-employed registered accountant with several employees, and in the last 5 years also with partners.
In my sparetime I am happy to go yachting and do triathlon.

I worked as the financial manager for the Danish contribution to the world exhibition in 1992, before joining Thura Film Productions in the same capacity. I joined the European Film College in 1996 and have worked in my present capacity since 1998.

The secret dream of most of us with degrees in the fluffy subject of Communications is that one day we'll find ourselves using it in a place with a certain NGO-feel about it. Until recently, thanks to a track record ranging from Rigshospitalet to the Danish Medicines Agency I thought I was destined to work in the health-care sector or to be a part-time yoga teacher. Then I moved to the European Film College and realised that I can have it all and even more! This is a benevolent community where humanism, solidarity and cooperation are core values in everything we do, a place where the teachers are skilled and well-respected. Add to this the daily contact with talented filmmakers of the future who come to Ebeltoft from all over the world and you have the most inspiring and rewarding job imaginable. Which happens to be mine.
Through the web, press, TV and all the media, my mission is to communicate the unique qualities of the EFC to both regional, national and international film enthusiasts. Why stop there - to the whole universe!

I have been working in office administrations in different companies since 1996. I have been employed at The European Film College since May 2008. Beside my job I'm involved in projects concerning children from troubled families. I'm also managing a family swimming course and enjoy camping with my family.

Freethinker with an urge to travel, based in a sustainable cohabitation. I’m a music enthusiast, and have worked as a drum-player, sound effect dude, percussionist, etc. on tours and in several sound studios for 25 years. I’m a film- and sound freak and a foley-artist. I’ve worked as a cinema-projectionist, cable-guy, trouble-finder and problem-solver together with film-crews, on tv-sets and bands on tour. As for the work here at the EFC, the students can be sure to meet an easy, calm and curious technical supervisor!

I qualified as a carpenter in 1978, and since then have worked on the restoration of old buildings in Ebeltoft as well as spending a period working in Germany. I joined the EFC in 2006.

I qualified as a mechanic and was a machine operator at a box factory for approximately 10 years, later working as a blacksmith and carpenter. I joined the EFC in 2003.

I trained as an office assistant and have worked at the land registry office in Silkeborg as well as doing a variety of catering jobs. I joined the EFC as matron in 2001.

I have a university degree in mathematics and data and worked in industry for a year before deciding to become a chef. I trained at the La Tour restaurant in Århus before joining the EFC kitchen team in 1994.

I trained as a kitchen assistant at Vejlby Husholdningsskole and worked at Tirstrup airport before joining the EFC as a permanent member of the kitchen team in 1999.

I'm one of the local weirdos from Ebeltoft who managed to find this hidden universe of EFC. I started as a projectionist early '08 and haven't been able to get away since. It's surprisingly difficult to reject this Cinema Paradiso-atmosphere! I really love to work with the 35 mm movies and the machines.
My interest in filmmaking started in elementary school when I made a couple of short movies. I was quite entertained by the process and have done a few movies after that, but I would love to do a lot more.
I graduated from HTX (a technically oriented high school) in june 2008, and as my future would otherwise have been very grim, I decided to become a CA. This means that I now spend more than all my time at EFC. I can't really explain what a CA is in few words, but it involves confusion, dedication, love and a tiny bit of craziness :)
