8½ months foundation course

An intense 34-week course that runs from September to May

  • Immerse yourself in learning about film and TV, fiction and documentary, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for 34 weeks
  • All teaching is hands-on or intensely interactive
  • Make your first mini-productions after one week and your first 4-minute film after 7 weeks
  • Learn about all aspects of the film world
  • Learn in 8½ months as much as other schools teach you in 2 or 3 years
  • The school is your home and community. Taking part in shared duties is a vital part of the experience
  • Develop your special creative skills under the guidance of professionals working in the Danish folk high school tradition
  • Start an international network with fellow students from all over the world
