The acting program is the only specialised program at the EFC, allowing the students to focus specifically on acting for their entire stay. This program is limited to 16 students. They will live an work together with the 99 film program students.
EXERCISES IN THE ACTING PROGRAM
Every week the acting students will do exercises with writers and directors and, in the third week of every course, the actors will be integrated into the ”Course Exercise”, in which all students take part.
The acting students will rehearse and perform stage plays for the rest of the students.
PROJECTS IN THE ACTING PROGRAM
The acting students will be cast in every project throughout the 34-week program.
More than 200 films with durations of 1 to 12 minutes are produced during the 34-week program, and all films need actors of both genders.The acting course is fully integrated with the main film program at the EFC.
The projects contain various genres - music video, adaptation, animation (voice over), sci-fi and historical film.
FILM COURSES IN THE ACTING PROGRAM
The actors have the opportunity to pick two other 3-week courses during their 34-week stay. The courses in 2010/2011 will be: directing, screenwriting, cinematography/lighting, TV, production management, sound and editing.
It is up to the individual student to decide if she/he wants to take courses other than acting.
LECTURES & WORKSHOPS
There will be several lectures and workshops with both international and Danish actors during the 34-week course. The EFC has a number of recognized actors attached to the course, and they will visit the school regularly. The workshops will take place outside normal class-hours: over weekends and in the evenings.

Single room supplement per week: 300 Kroner
Price per week, Day student: 1.200 Kroner
Total amount, Day student 8½ monthts: 40.800 Kroner
