Film Festival: European Film College marks 25 years of film talent

Come join us as we celebrate 25 years of supporting young film talents! From 19 to 25 June European Film College is marking its 25th anniversary with a film festival, presenting and discussing an impressive selection of recent feature films created by former students. The festival will take place in both Aarhus and Ebeltoft and is hosted in close collaboration with Aarhus 2017, Profile Pictures, Øst for Paradis and Nordisk Film Cinemas.

During the past 25 years the European Film College has been the incubator and instigator of some of the world’s most significant film talents, and renowned filmmakers such as director Joachim Trier (‘Louder Than Bombs’, ‘Reprise’), cinematographer Charlotte Bruus (‘Girl on a Train’, ‘The Hunt’), director/writer Nikolaj Arcel (‘A Royal Affair’), actor Pilou Asbæk (‘Game of Thrones’, ‘A War’), and cinematographer Sturla Brandth Grøvlen (‘Victoria’, ‘Shelley’) are just a small selection of the European Film College’s Star Alumni.

The film festival EUROPEAN FILM COLLEGE STAR ALUMNI will be screening a long row of recent films created by former students at the college. In connection with most of the screenings there will be Q&As and discussions with the filmmakers.

EUROPEAN FILM COLLEGE STAR ALUMNI runs from 19 to 25 June and takes place in the European Film College’s own cinema, Big Bear, as well as Nordisk Film Biocity and Øst for Paradis in Aarhus.

You can see the festival programme here, and tickets can be booked and purchased at the different cinemas, both online and in the cinemas. Ticket price per screening is DKK 50.
