Thomas Vinterberg (DK), Ragnar Bragason (I), Jan Harlan (G), Rick Senat (UK) and David Von Ancken (USA) were a few of the guests who spent a week-end here this year, not only to lecture but also to have lunch, breakfast AND dinner with the students.

Meet Wim Wenders at The European Film College! We're happy to announce the visit of one of Europe's most significant directors. Wenders will come to the EFC in Spring 2010 to lecture about his films and his ideas on European cinema today.
Director of "Persepolis", Marjane Satrapi, is coming to The European Film College in early 2010. For the first time ever, Satrapi will visit Denmark to give a talk on her award winning and highly publicised animation film.
After 8 ½ months of filmmaking 110 EFC-students left the college on May 10th. Some of them to pursue a career in film production companies some to start as students on film or media schools. We wish them all good luck after a very productive year!
The EFC is present again in this year’s Cannes Festival. With Lars von Trier, Jane Campion, Ken Loach, Pedro Almodóvar and Quentin Tarantino in the main competition this year’s programme is both star-studded and overwhelming. Our hope is that we manage to persuade a couple of prominent filmmakers to visit the EFC during the 09/10 course.
